We surf in Playa Avellanas, which is located 18 minutes walking through a beautiful mangrove forest where you can observe plenty of wildlife.

We offer a free shuttle during our schedule and it takes 4 min to arrive at the beach by car. Our surf instructor will bring the guests and the schedule depends on the ocean tide.

There are two main seasons in Nicaragua:
Dry season: if you are looking for hot weather and rainy season for a jungle full of life.

The wet season: starts around mid-May through to mid-November where you can experience some tropical showers. They usually occur at night or early morning meaning you can still take a bath in the sun during the day, enjoy the beach and surf. During those months, you will also find the biggest and most consistent swells. This is a perfect time to consider surfing in Nicaragua.

Known for more than 300 days of offshore winds, hundreds of kilometres of white sand, warm water and amazing weather, Nicaragua is a top destination among surfers. You will find waves all year around. There is usually the biggest swell brought by the Pacific coast from May to November, but for beginners and intermediate, you won’t be disappointed at all if you decide to come any time!

There are many good surf spots and if Maderas is too big the surf instructors can bring guests to other spots such as Remanzo which is really good for longboarding.

For small waves (longboarding), the best time is between December and February.

The gift voucher will be valid for one year from the date of purchase.

The activities we offer at Dreamsea Mediterranean are:

Kayak & snorkel, paddle surf, yoga, horseback riding, diving and massage.

You can book activities in advance but you can also book once you arrive at the camp but always 24 hours in advance.
We suggest our guests to book in advance the kayak, paddle surf and yoga activities, as these activities have limited places and we don’t want you to miss them out.

Of course, if you arrive before 14:00 you can leave your luggage at reception and enjoy our wonderful restaurant with swimming pool.

You will have to leave your tent at 11:00 but you can leave your luggage at the reception desk or in your vehicle and enjoy the rest of the day in the common areas of Dreamsea.

Even if it rains or the weather is bad, our camp will remain open unless our glamping cannot withstand the weather conditions, in which case we will notify all guests with the option of free cancellation or modification of dates. Until the camp does not make that decision, our camp will continue to open normally.

At the time of booking, we suggest our guests to take out a cancellation insurance that allows you to change dates or cancel the reservation until the same day of entry.

Our recommendation is bus www.alsa.es to Benitachell, once you know the time of arrival in Benitachell, we can pick you up for 10€ to the campsite. The price is per trip and person.
There is also the option of a cab which will cost about 100-120€.

We offer transfers in Dreamsea but depend on the availability of the van according to the daily activities:

-Alicante airport for 160€ / full van 8pax.
-Valencia Airport for 180€ / full van 8pax.

At Dreamsea everyone is welcome and of course children are welcome too, our glamping tents have a double bed for two people to which you can add a maximum of one extra bed for the third guest, for only 20€ for over 6 years old with breakfast included.

We have some rules you have to follow:
-By rule and company policy only 1 pet per tent is allowed. On arrival for check-in, you will sign a consent form leaving a deposit in case of damage in the tent, restaurant or any area of the campsite.

-You must bring them the bed so they are more comfortable and feel at home as they are not allowed to sleep on the bed or on the carpet.

-Each guest must take care of their pets; we do not have a pet service to leave them while doing an activity nor can they be left alone in the tents. It is important to be respectful with the rest of the guests and with the facilities, we trust in your responsibility.

The camp is surrounded by mountains and nature so the views are beautiful from every corner.

All our double glamping tents are facing the same direction towards the ocean but only the first two will have direct ocean views.

The master glamping tents have views of the camp and nature.

The double glamping tents with shared bathroom share a large and close bathroom with the 14 double glamping tents.
4 toilets and 4 showers, the showers are individual in the shared bathrooms.

In the shared bathrooms or in the private bathrooms of the glamping master tents, we offer our guests shower gel. We do not offer shampoo.

In summer, when temperatures are high, we suggest opening the door and windows with the tent’s mosquito netting to cool the room. In addition, each tent has a fan.

In winter, we offer blankets on the beds but we suggest our guests to bring warm clothes. If you need more blankets, you can request them at reception.

Each glamping tent is located on a platform with a distance from each other, but we have to take into account that the tents are made of canvas, so although we ask for respect towards the other guests, we cannot assure you complete silence.

Children under 18 years of age cannot be accommodated without being accompanied by an adult. It is not valid with a signed consent form.

During low and mid-season, we can accept campers (maximum length of 6 meters) on request 🙂 We can provide electricity and water, but we do not have drains to discharge waste water.

We are open to guests and the general public from 8:00 to 23:00.

You will see more precipitation between May until October. During wet season, the surf is still great and fewer people in the water so it makes it ideal for learning and improving your surfing skills. It’s difficult to predict the weather, you might get no rain at all during the days you are here or there could be some tropical rainfalls. Since it usually rains during night time or early morning, we still get to see the sun. But it’s always hard to predict, you might get almost no rain at all or there could be some tropical rainfalls.

During the rainy season it’s possible to surf in Weligama (10 minutes from the resort by tuk-tuk).

For the surf lessons we will offer free transportation.

The reception will send you an email 24 hours prior to your arrival with the pickup point and a contact number.
