As the person in charge of our housekeeping team, you are the person in charge of the team, along with all its processes. You will play an essential role in the overall experience of our guests and visitors and contribute to the amazing visit they will have when they come to stay at The Camp. Our housekeepers help us maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation. In addition to maintaining and cleaning the tents and common areas, they work with the rest of the team to ensure that every corner of the camp is properly always maintained with plants and decorations. Among their main tasks is the organization of tents, the management of laundry and linen stock, together with the coordination of the rest of the team in the check in and check out processes.

Housekeeping Assistant

As a member of our housekeeping team, you will play an essential role in the overall experience of our guests and visitors and will contribute to the amazing experience they will have when they come to stay at The Camp. Our housekeepers help us maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation. You are the Head and Responsible for everything related to the back office tasks and camp booking process. Is also the person in charge of all administrative services, accounting, and direct supervision of the reception department. This position manages the booking process related to the camp, and leads the reception team in the daily tasks in coordination with the rest of the areas of the camp. As responsible for the booking process of the camp, they are primarily responsible for kindly assisting all guests with their booking process in the first steps: Listening and responding to guests' inquiries and requests by phone or email. Informing and orienting guests about Dreamsea products and services. Making all the information available to them so that when they arrive at the camp, they have the best possible experience in coordination with the reception team. Manage reservations: create/modify/cancel reservations with our internal software. Resolve any problems that may arise with reservations, and also support and assist the receptionists in the reservations department to answer any kind of questions from guests. You are responsible for assisting your fellow instructors with everything they need. Making sure that all surf instructors have the tools ready to carry out their daily surf lessons in the best possible way and that all the equipment is returned to the camp correctly. As head of maintenance, your main responsibility is to ensure that all Camp infrastructure is always kept operational. You will be primarily in charge of solving most maintenance-related problems as well as solving design and repair challenges as they arise with rhythm and creativity. You will have to work with autonomy, knowing how to work in a team, asking for help and involving the rest of the team if necessary. You will oversee important processes such as waste management and it will be essential to always keep your work area clean and tidy, with high levels of safety during the performance of your work. You will need to be knowledgeable and fluent in lighting, electrical, carpentry, plumbing and landscaping. During each week you will be assigned different tasks with varying degrees of priority to meet the demands of the Camp and the departments that need it. Day-to-day organization is key, as well as efficient management of resources and materials.

Your job starts on Saturday, welcoming our guests, where you will give them a tour explaining the most important aspects of the camp, as well as showing them their tents. During the rest of the week you will be in charge of managing the different activities and events that will take place at the camp, as well as the tours or excursions that will be held. It is your responsibility to design and plan a weekly plan adapted to the profile of our guests and the needs of the camp. Always taking into account the schedules of the main camp and the schedules of Yoga and Surf. The activities must be attractive for the Staff and for the guests, the objective is that the Staff gets involved and enjoys them. If we manage to involve the staff, this will be a success. Apart from the different tasks related to the activities, you will have other responsibilities such as stock control and entertainment storage. The most important thing here is that you have a good time, enjoy it and are able to transmit this to the rest of the team and our guests. Our mission will be during each week, to build a community of diverse people where through our intervention we manage to integrate everyone who wants to, in activities related to sports, nature, creativity, and social interaction.
